• Catalytic converters have contributed to a decisive breakthrough in emission reduction worldwide. A pioneer, Walker has been involved in the development of low emission exhaust systems and catalytic converters since 1963.
• Walker Catalytic Converters are approved to German emission standards R103 — the toughest in Europe.
• Developed by our European operations, our patented acoustic prediction program (Gillaum) gives us the capability to develop optimal exhaust designs before the first prototype is built and to predict sound pressure levels without running an actual vehicle or engine.
• Total Quality Management, the core of our Kaizen waste elimination program, structures the interaction of human and material resources in a policy of on-going waste elimination.
• We only specify and select environmentally sensitive materials and packaging which are suited to recycling processes.
• Only environmentally friendly water-soluble paints are used on Walker exhaust systems.
• We pioneered the autopheretic paint system in the ride control industry to improve carbon resistance durability.
